In Russia, the public debate surrounding marketplaces continues. This gives every reason to believe that legislative regulation of their activities is only a matter of time. Representatives of various Russian government bodies have already voiced their support for such regulation.
Technologies using artificial intelligence (“AI”) are increasingly entering our life and becoming an integral part of the work of many industries. It is not surprising that issues relating to legal regulation of AI are becoming more and more important. In a situation where AI creates some objects, the question as to their legal status arises inevitably, as well as a number of other questions, the answers to many of which cannot be given on the basis of the current Russian legislation.
